Pastor Found and Approved!
Leesburg Presbyterian Church had been in transition since February of 2021, when Rev. Debbie Dodson Parsons announced her retirement. On September 10, 2023, the congregation overwhelmingly approved the recommendation of the Pastor Nominating Committee to call Rev. Katie Strednak Singer to serve as our next pastor.
Pastor Katie has served in two congregations since her ordination in 2009, first for seven years as a solo pastor at Franklin Presbyterian Church in Kentucky, followed by seven years as Associate Pastor at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in McLean, Va. Pastor Katie leads with joy, bringing her love of bridge building and social entrepreneurship into community conversations.
Pastor Katie's ministry in Leesburg began on October 23, 2023.
